The nature is very diverse and different according to the part of country. There is no sea in Armenia but there is one special place which Armenians called „Armenian Sea”. This is huge mountain lake with crystal clear water. Lake Sevan is surrounded by the mountains and is located almost at 2000 meters above sea level. This is a very beautiful place and this is an icon of Armenia.

Mount Ararat is a very beautiful massif with two peaks (Greater Ararat and Little Ararat) and this is a very special place for Armenians because Mount Ararat is perceived as the traditional resting place of Noah’s Ark; Armenians according to the legend are considered as Noah’s granson’s descendants. Regarding on the Noah’s Ark you can see that Armenia is related with christianity for long time. What is more Armenia is the first country in the world to adopt Christianity as a state religion. Travelling through Armenia many times you will visit old churches and monasteries from times of begining the christianity, even from 4th century.

In Armenia except extraordinary natural and historical objects enchants us also with delicious cuisine, where the trademark is well prepared lamb. For the evening, after a hearty dinner, it is worth to try the Armenian cognac, famous not only for the whole area of the former Soviet Union, but also in Europe.
